Being an independent artist can sometimes feel like whispering into the wind, never quite knowing where your songs will land. So every stream, every message, every pre-save, every ticket, every share, and every person who chooses to walk alongside me genuinely means more than you probably realise.

Last year, I disappeared to Tasmania with a handful of unfinished songs and a heart full of dreams.

Some of them had lived with me for years.

Some demanded to be written before they'd let me sleep.

On 21 August, I'll finally be releasing my debut EP...

Reckless & Redeemed.

This record isn't about having life figured out.

It's about discovering that two things can be true at once.

We can carry grief and hope.

Faith and doubt.

Strength and fear.

Anger and forgiveness.

Sometimes we run.

Sometimes we return.

Sometimes we're reckless.

Sometimes we're redeemed.

Most of the time...

We're both.

I think that's one of the most beautiful things about being human.

Maybe you've spent your whole life trying to choose between the different parts of yourself...

when you were never meant to.

I hope somewhere in these songs, you recognise a little of your own story.

Friday 14 August, doors open 7pm for a 7:30pm start.

I'd love you to join me for a very special night celebrating the release of my brand new single, Here Lays She That Hated Everyone, and, for one night only, hear Reckless & Redeemed performed live a full week before the EP officially arrives.

The night begins with a special guest opening act, before my incredible five-piece band and I take you on the journey that became Reckless & Redeemed.

Before these songs find their way into headphones, playlists and long drives home...

They get to belong to a room full of people.

I'd love for you to be one of them.

You'll hear every song from the EP before anyone else.

A few sister songs from my El Devi days.

And a handful of covers that left their fingerprints all over this record.

There'll be stories.

And hopefully, somewhere along the way, you'll find a little of yourself in these songs.

The chairs slide back.

The amps turn up.

And the party begins!

JoJo & the Jelly Bread will keep the dance floor alive with two high-energy sets before DJ Mr. Music takes over to finish the night.

Because life isn't meant to be lived at one volume.

Neither is this night.

Come early, grab a drink, enjoy a bite to eat before the kitchen closes at 8:00 pm, and settle in for an evening of stories, songs and celebration.
